Installation

To get started with adding the Ayyash theme to your WordPress site, follow the steps below. There are two steps to installing a WordPress theme.

How to Install

  1. Download the theme file from the WordPress Org plugin directory
  2. Go to Appearance > Themes > Add new > Upload theme and upload the ayyash.zip file. Click on the Install Now button to install the theme.

For the second way navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New and search for Ayyash in the search box. The theme will appear, just click on the install button to install it.

It will take some time to install the theme. After successfully installing the theme you can see the live preview of the theme from the preview option. To apply the theme to your Website click on the Activate option.

It will activate your theme on your website.

Setup Permalink

Make sure to configure the permalink structure. By default, WordPress generates web URLs having question marks and lots of numbers in them; however, WordPress offers you the ability to create a custom URL structure for your permalinks and archives. This can improve the readability, usability, and forward compatibility of your links.

From the WP admin panel go to the following path Settings > Permalink then selects “Post name” (or any other depending on your choice) as the permalink structure for your WordPress site.
